The Community Explorer students created two policy groups - Hunger & Homelessness, and the Environment. They presented their observations and policy recommendations to the Santa Monica Mayor at City Hall. The hunger & homelessness policy team emphasized the need for more services and resources to address the growing problem, and the environmental poilcy team focused on the need to reduce jet traffic at the SM airport and keep our beaches clean.
