Our first "Mystery Guest Reader" - Carolina - is a first grader who collected books from home and from her friends at school. She visited New Los Angeles Elementary School with her mother and read to New LA's TK students. She returned to her own school and shared her experiences with her teachers and peers. She is hoping to collect more books and encourage her friends to do the same. Above is a photo of her note to New LA's principal.
